We’ve been on vacation! We spent a great week at a ranch in New Mexico, courtesy of my aunt to whom we are most grateful. The ranch is in the mountains so the weather was relatively cool (definitely cool during the nights and early mornings) but had glorious sunshine during the day and no humidity. It felt just about perfect.
I spent a lot of time chasing after Charlie on vacation, but when I wasn’t doing that, I managed to read TWO books. And, of course, I appreciated the scenery. I’d planned to insert some wonderful photos from our trip right about here in this post. But I can’t find the little cord that connects my camera to the computer to download all my photos. I swear I brought it on the trip, but it hasn’t returned in any of our luggage. Uh oh. I wonder how I replace that cord. Anyhow, imagine some spectacular photos of the scenery that inspired many of Georgia O’Keefe’s landscape paintings. That’s what I would have posted.
