I don’t really know how to take care of roses. The extent of my knowledge is that you’re supposed to prune them way back every so often. I don’t know when. So I pretty much ignore our one rose bush and then when it gets huge, I cut it indiscriminately. Occasionally it blooms, despite my neglect. And, now it’s in bloom so I clipped a few buds and brought them inside. They’ve opened and look pretty darn good:
Oh, and if you’re interested, that was also a pretty good bottle of wine –“Tres Pinos Tierra Roja” that I bought at Trader Joe’s.
